"Rece O McDonald, 82, of Cole Road, Conneautville, and formerly of Spartansburg, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Evansburg, April 5, 1924, a son of the late Alex and Martha Williams McDonald. Mr McDonald was raised and educated in Evansburg before moving to Ripley, NY. He then worked for the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Corry Central Labor Club in Corry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Bromley McDonald. They were married in Corry, March 26, 1949. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Harris; six brothers, Earl Delroy McDonald, Harvey Lee Ray McDonald, infant twins Goldie and Richard McDonald, Robert Lee McDonald and William Glendon McDonald; and two grandsons, Dustin McDonald and Rece English. He is survived by two daughters...two sons...four sisters...and two brothers...He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N Center St, Corry...until the time of the funeral there...with the Rev J Lynn Cirigliano, pastor of Faith Evangelical Church in Corry, officiating. Burial will be made in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry."
